Every Residential Mural I engage myself in becomes a collaboration between me and my client. I see every mural I create as an intimate process. A mural becomes part of the home and is the defining characteristic shaping each individual’s space so understanding my clients and who they are is very important to me.
I personally believe that part of the excitement of commissioning a mural for your home or business is the process of its formation. I like to keep my clients involved as much as they want to be involved. It is not often that art lovers actually get to watch an artist evolve the concept of the painting, and also watch the physical process of the artwork developing. By being a part of the process I think you get a chance to build a similar attachment to the space that is usually reserved for only artists and their own creations.
The Planet commissioned me to do several custom hand painted murals that are displayed in their Houston downtown facility. The Planet embraces a philosophy that business can reach above the norm and strive towards innovation by embracing creativity. I think these murals demonstrate they are committed to creativity and ingenuity. This was a wonderful experience and I loved every minute of it.
